Info hash

The info hash is a SHA1 hash of the info section of the torrent file. The info hash is a fingerprint for a torrent, and should be unique for each torrent. Changing a fundamental part of the torrent, like the content of a file, the directory structure, the file size or it's private property will result in the info hash changing.
